Training also includes reinforcement. Reinforcement increases the likelihood that the dog will perform the behavior in the future. Possible reinforcement includes Food, Toys, Praise, Attention, whatever the dog wants to do.  Excellent food rewards can include kibble, (you can use puppy kibble it has a higher fat content that dogs like), break milkbones into smaller pieces, ice, and carrots.
